I vaguely remember promising to provide a picture of the kitty whom Kaffre's appearance was primarily based off.
Unfortunately, kitties aren't the most cooperative of photography subjects... I finally managed to get a few satisfactory pictures so without further adieu I present Blaze.
He's a very affectionate Tom who gave Kaffre his appearance (Note the fluffy butt), and Kaffre's daddy (Blaise) his name.

I actually spent a lot of time trying to get a picture of him without any eyeglow, but he kept looking at me, climbing on my lap, or jumping on my shoulder whenever I tried to photograph him so I gave up and used this one...
You're right though, it is a neat-looking effect (his eyes aren't really his best feature anyway) and adds an air of mystery to the photograph!

Actually, I'm not sure about Blaze's parentage. He certainly LOOKS like Maine Coon though doesn't he? (so does his mother actually, except that she's tiny...). Come to think of it, they both have a lot of the breed's temperament too so who knows? *shrugs*
Anyway, I'm glad you like him (I really like the classic tabby markings). I'd love to see pictures of your guy too!
