I take offence to that, both as a soldier and a canadian. Even though we have never fought a war on our own, our boys have never turned there back to the enemy and are second to no one. Every time somthing seemed to hard to do, they send in the Canadians. We may have a small army but we are the Spartans of the Americas.

I'd thought that the C7 and C8 were variants of the AR-18, rather than the AR-10/15, but it seems I was mistaken.

Any word on how well the C8 performs in "less than ideal" conditions?

the M4 is an M-16 with a flat top

it was rumored that the only reason for it's design was to get around the Clinton "assault weapon ban"

it's parts are completely interchangeable with my AR-15, with the exception of the trigger group and seer (I have a semi-auto)

in truth, the ONLY way to improve on the original design is to make it a larger caliber

like the .270, .300Winchester Magnum, or .50bmg

I prefer the .300wm, but that's just my opinion

everything is just window dressing, and mission specific tailoring, which is a good thing.

... Uhmm, The C8A1/A2 is mainly used by Armored and Navy troops, The C7A2 is the main weapon of the Army element.
