Ironically I've made a breakthrough and I ref'd this so well it looks bizarre. I guess that's because it's missing the rocks, the background and the shadows.

I'm not just going to refine, I'm going to add the world next time.
Pretty fn fast at these incompletes, I've practiced enough canid angles to have more time for other things, and oddly even stuff I have no practice in is easier than ever to capture roughly. I find recently that if I really focus I can hold a broken snapshot in my imagination of anything I look at (for a few seconds at least).
Furthermore I've promised myself to wait until I'm sober to make the final call on whether or not to submit (a promise I know I'll break probably sooner rather than later) yet it's the thought that counts right?
