what is pork pate & diakon?

Pork Pate is pork liver, that's super soft and daikon are radish vegetables.

Pork Pate' is basically a pork meat paste formed into a loaf. Normally, they include some liver for flavor, though some are mostly liver and others just use it as a seasoning. Cream, spices, and frequently wine or congac are also frequent ingredients. The meat is ground up VERY fine, and the other ingredients give it substance and body. Daikon is a type of Japanese / Asian radish. Long and white in color, with a much milder flavor than American red radishes, and a slightly nutty note. Very nice and crunchy, too! https://hancockseed.com/images/Daik.....ish%20Seed.jpg

They do! There are other Daikon variates with different shapes, and some are Huge, but those in the picture seem to be most common in the Asian markets around wuff's area.

very good description of pate! mine was a 50-50 blend of pork liver and pork belly. next time i might use chicken liver instead. also i did use cognac but i wan't to use whiskey but it was a sunday and i didn't plan ahead.

i prefer pork in most cases (in comparison to chicken) but pork liver is just to powerful and chicken liver tastes fattier and i could probably eat it plain and enjoy it more
