Hooray for terrible puns! This was a delightful pic I finished featuring Kailani.
Native to the tropical island she lives on are large groups of natural hot steam geysers. Her mama always told her to look before she sits, and now look at what a situation she's gotten herself into!
Although... I hardly believe she did this on accident, as her feint smile tells another story~

Except for that steam geysers (at least those in Yellowstone) average around 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and I've actually seen steam that was so hot it could burn through paper, so I'm sure her happy smile is less from the inflation and more from the fact she didn't cook alive from having almost 200 degree steam crammed into her body at an alarmingly fast rate.
As of generation 5 there is a move known as Scald, a water-type attack in which the user blasts a stream of hot water at their opponent. While it can potentially cause burning on the target who's shot at, the user is ultimately unharmed while using the move.
