nice motion with the horses in the top panel
nice bit of drama with her face reflected in the window too
this has a nice feel and mood to it with the gray wash, like sepia, but it feels more rich

thank you! I think that first panel with the horses worked quite well. I wanted a sense of darkness and drama here, especially since the next couple of pages need to be character intro and plot exposition.

Wonderfully, extravagantly gothic. I'm delighted that (assuming I know who is waiting for Danielle) you've got a standard gothic plot going here, that is going to have anything but the standard gothic resolution.
