A cool commission (fursuit friendly) I got to make of a crux inspired by the music video of Mystery Skull's "Ghost" , particularly in the character of Lewis.

Not my idea in reality, but this person really wanted to have these characters drawn, but re-made as cruxes.
I think it is a nice concept, and lucky for everyone, the makers of the video and song actually allowed to make such creations, even for profit! There's already a Lewis fursuit that was sold recently in furbuy!
In any case, I am very happy I got commissioned to draw Lewis as a furry xP (I do get your point, but I find no problem on doing this as it was allowed. Heck, you can even make plushies, icons, etc of the characters and sell them! I believe the only restrictions were not using the video and song itself for profit)

I know it's not your idea, and I understand everything they allow to happen, it just bugs me that they wanted basically a different species Lewis to call theirs instead of wanting something more inspired by the art and overall theme of it. And I don't mean to sound like I'm saying something like "omfg it's another one of those people" or anything like that
How ever I am gonna make some minor changes to make him a little less like the actual character. (You did a great job on him) but if I was to upload this people would probably attack me for "taking" a character idea and calling it mine, I will try and make him a little more crux like with a wild design, this can be a clothed version of him though :3
Actually you are safe of it looking as it does currently . The makers of the video , along with the song artists approved these sort of things to be done . They allow for profit on things done based on things based on the video (even selling plushies with the original designs ) The only thing they prohibited was profiting from using the video itself or the song . God, I really need to find where they posted that xD in any case , thanks to that , many people started doing icons , a fursuit and other things based in the concept, both of the characters themselves or characters inspired by the video.
