Talia von Vulpes stood in front of the large polished metal door, looking at her reflection. Behind her the cobra, Nightingale slithered about, adjusting the hem of Talia's dress.
"Do you think this vill vork?" Talia asked, tilting her head.
Nightingale nodded.
"Oh yes, Talia," she replied. "The black really brings out your eyes."
Talia glanced back.
"So, Nightingale, Darling. Vhere did you ever get this eyeshadow?"
Nightingale gave a soft chuckle.
"Travis traded it for some glass panels the last time he visited," the cobra answered.
Talia raised an eyebrow, knowing that Nightingale rarely had need for such luxuries as make-up. The snake blushed and shrugged.
"It was an on the spot whim," Nightingale said to the silent question.
Talia looked back at her reflection, smiling.
"Vell you have good taste," the vixen said.
She turned back, facing Nightingale and posed, a hand on her hips.
"How do I look?"she asked.
Nightingale gave one final adjustment and slithered back, nodding her approval.
