"They're down for a nap, do you mind just keeping an ear out, I have to run to the store."
"Uh, Sure." Nova responded, her tail swaying nervously "You'll be back soon, right?"
The caretaker nodded "Two seconds! and if you could just put some paints into little cups for them, we'll do arts and crafts when I get back."
"Sure, no problem"
and with that, she was out the door. Nova did as she was asked and poured some bright colored paints into dixie cups for arts and crafts when the phone rang. She put the cups down and ran into the kitchen to get the news that the caretaker hit some traffic but will be back in 5 minutes or so- Nova told her they were all still sleeping like angels and that she had started to set up arts and crafts.
turning and walking back down the hall to the craft room she heard giggling, thinking they must have woken up from her nap a nervous smile crawled across her muzzle, soon replaced by complete panic.
There, the four "angels" were, and they were DEFINITELY awake and started arts and crafts just a little bit early. Paint dripped from little noses and off little tails that wagged excitedly as little paws squished, smeared and dragged paint... all over the floors and walls...
"Oh boy..." Nova managed to force out as her jaw hung open at the colorful mess in front of her.

A HUGE thank you to  ace_fox84,  GMSkin86,  duffy, and  BetoWolf For taking part in my YCH commission! I had this idea and really wanted t make it happen, but didn't have any cuties to put in it! I hope you all like it I had a blast with it and will definitely be doing more in the future!
