Tell me about it. I got so tired of seeing foxes and cats in everything, not to mention having a cast of mostly one race bothers me when furry has so many options. That's why I'm big into diversity, multi species casts, and where possible hoofer love.
Lauren is the only headlining zebra I know of, just like Sierra is the only kinkajou, and Kate is the only rattlesnake I can think of.
There is a major bear and rat planned for later in Lauren's series. :)

I tend to keep the species count down mainly because I do not think it likely that a vast variety of species would develop like that. The scientist in me keeps going, "Ahhhhh!" and getting in the way of using lots of interesting species at the same time. Unless everyone turns furry in which case anything goes.
