The dryad is a humanoid-shaped being of plant matter and solidified elemental energy native to the prime material worlds. Each dryad is bound to a specific tree in a truly symbiotic relationship with instantaneous biofeedback between both beings. Normally these beings are shy and reclusive, except when their tree or home forest is threatened by beings wielding fire or logging equipment. In these instances they will use any and all means at their disposal to "remove" the threat.
