So after working on the Mute City remix a few days ago, I asked a friend of mine for another video game song I could remix for practise.
Expecting them to throw another track I could remix into a happy, upbeat track (which was all I had done up until now), they sent this song to me. It was sort of a curveball, and I struggled for the first few hours of working on it :c
I tried to increase the BPM and turn it into an upbeat track, but I couldn't quite get it to work D:
It was pretty clear that this was supposed to be mellow.
Anyway, I think come the end I found something that worked ♥ Hope you all like it!

Aw, thanks for all the kind words and taking the time to listen; that really means a lot to me ♥
Yeah, I know it's not perfect, I'm really new to all of this. I knew that there was more that could be done to it, there are parts that need better mixing and I also feel that it was a bit too long and some bars could have been cut out, but the longer I messed with it the more I started to make mistakes and mess things up, so I decided to call it finished before I did any real damage x.x
I think I could have done a high BPM version if I had spent a lot of time with it, but I won't ever learn if I just do the same thing over and over again. I already do listen to a lot of electronic music (at least independent stuff anyway) but I will start to take note of BPM and see what works best with which style.
I'll keep at it, hopefully I'll be able to make my own music someday! Thanks again for listening, you're lovely ♥
