Born to a male anthro Arcanine and a female anthro Flammie who came from another world, Sage was considered very special to his family. However, growing up, he was constantly teased by others for being so different and for being unnaturally big even when he was still a pup. With little to no friends, he became timid and withdrawn, not knowing what to do with his life especially since his father is a police officer and his mother was a guardian on her world. Then one day, when he was eighteen and on a walk feeling depressed, he came across a bank being robbed and his father was one of the members of the squad who responded to the incident. When he suddenly saw his father get shot, something within Sage awoken and with an angry growl flew at the robbers, suddenly releasing a weak blast of lightning to disable them before encasing them in ice for the police to take care of. When he rushed to his father, he surprised him when Sage was able to magically heal him. When Sage's mother learned of this from her son and husband, she said he has somehow inherited the ability to use Mana magic just like she can. Taking her son to her world, she and the eight Mana Spirits helped train Sage to properly control his new found powers. During his time training, Sage began to keep a journal, which soon helped him discover how much he loved writing. He even came up with a few stories during this time. When he was done with his training, he knew that he wanted to be a writer and share his stories with others. And while he made friends with the Mana Spirits, Sage still wishes to make some true friends, maybe find his other half one day.

Personality: Very timid and shy half of the time. When he gets scared or too embarrassed, he'll wrap his wings around himself until he calms down and feels safe. Unable to sometimes say what he wants to truly say for fear of being judged or hurting anyone's feelings, but is very friendly to those he likes. While bashful, he doesn't mind getting hugs or giving them. Secretly loves having his big belly rubbed sometimes.

Likes: Anime, videogames, dragons, old time movies and radio shows, writing, cartoons, comedy shows like Family Guy, hanging with friends

Dislikes: Ignorance, mean people, those who hurt his friends


I am thinking of making Sage my fursona. For everyone to know, I'm not getting rid of Dorgan as he is who I used to start my account here of FA, but he more represents my love of dragons and fantasy related subjects like magic, heroes and the universe of Kingdom Hearts (For obvious reasons ' U ' ).

Sage is new yet he represents qualities of the RL me. I'm timid at times to talk to new people, I'm afraid to speak my mind for fear of being rejected and judged, and because of my Asperger's, socializing isn't easy even online. He also represents what I wish I could and want to be: Big, strong, able to go anywhere I want, to be more brave and confident. And magical powers is a nice touch

So again, I'm not getting rid of Dorgan as he is a part of me too but Sage is to represent me.
