Sorry this took longer to post, but here it is! Chapter 2! Now, before you wonder why the animals and the sub-focus keeps switching, it's because there's multiple plots wrapped around the main plot. I mean, I'm working the best I can to keep the general plot going, but I also want to keep each group itself interesting. Of course, critique, comment, or whatever floats your boat.

Note: To those who are wondering, the first 6-7 chapters might seem dull, but that's because I'm using them to setup all the characters. I may lower this to about 5, but we'll see how it works. I really do hope it turns out good.
