Tylis is a rather... Whimsical fellow? Born originally as a woman, he later got cosmetic surgery to install a male turian crest as well as a voice modification. However, for a reason that even he couldn't understand, he chose not to alter his sex. He felt uncomfortable at the idea and instead elected to have himself made sterile.

He's a cabal envoy for regular troops and had..."unsanctioned diplomatic success" with Leif. Of course, high command didn't care, and because Leif was a respected commander in his unit, his relationship was dismissed. They would have intervened, despite their typical allowance of sex within the ranks as cabalxnormal-troop relationships would often end with drastic results.

Leif later broke up with Tylis after he left the military, unable to maintain such a long distance relationship. They maintained friendly contact however and kept up.

After the 90 hour reaper war, Tylis returned to live on the citadel, tired of war. However, he could not find work in the cultural hub and so he ends up looking to Leif for a place to stay. Hilarity ensues.

He's always been aloof in thought and clever in mind. With his additional skills of biotics, he was once found using them to make his butterfly knife skills more impressive, as it's difficult to do with only three fingers. He also has an unhealthy obsession with guns, often denying apartments that prohibited firearms and a key reason as to why he requested to stay in Leif's home. Out of boredom after the fact, he studied in the art of stand-up comedy using dry humor and exaggeration. As he put's it: "He's just another exemplary individual in the Zenox residence who is entertaining yet makes no contribution to the majority of sentient life." Leif laughed at this, but Ester didn't, mostly because she actually was making the single biggest contribution at that very moment.

Err, I dont know what I think about the character I'm building around this adoptable. Is it too resembling of "the awkward ex comes to stay" cliche? I really am just looking for an excuse for him to stay at Leif's house so that these characters can interact more. I think it'll be a fun experience to add Tylis to my regime regardless. maybe I'll just say, "hey, he's been here all along!" like with Mycroft. Ah well, I'll figure it out.
