was gracious enough to write a little story along with this and all credit for it goes to him.

After losing a bet to a friend, Zaylin was required to honor his debt by volunteering at their farm & help out with the chores for a full month. At first Zaylin was wasn’t too happy (and dragged along Layris to help out), but as time passed he found the rural setting to be pleasant and the hard labor wasn’t all that bad after getting used to it. Time seemed to pass quicker as the days went by and he got closer to freedom, until finally Zaylin reached the last day he would have to volunteer. Content in knowing it was almost over, and it being a beautiful day, he found himself in a pleasant mood as everything seemed be getting better. And at that moment he made the dreaded mistake of saying the worst possible thing to kill one’s own luck – “what could possibly go wrong?”

At that moment, a loud THOOM was heard off in the distance, followed by another THOOM which sounded much closer than the 1st. With each loud noise, the ground began to shake more and more, increasing from a little quiver up to a violent shake as Zaylin lost footing and fell to the ground while Layris tried to take a peek before having to balance himself from the shaking ground.

When the final THOOM landed, it became clear to Zaylin and Layris that they were footsteps when they found themselves between the settled footpaws of a giant. Hearing the pleased chuckle above, the two slowly looked up to behold the massive being above them…
