my years of improvement (2008-2015)
I remember seeing this meme in 2009-2010 and I thought "I'm not old enough to do this because I don't have enough years of experience to fill out the spaces." But now that I'm almost 20, I decided to finally give it a go.
I've been drawing since I could pick up a pencil. I have been through so much improvement including style change and method change. (I have no clue how I survived without a tablet for so many years.)
As a bonus, here's the oldest piece of digital art I still have. I think I was about 10-11 which means it's from 2006 (when I was really into Neopets).
Sometimes I wish I could just go back and tell 11-year old me that persevering with my art is one of the best decisions I ever made. That, no matter how awful I ever felt about my art not being good enough, it was worth looking past it and working harder to better myself.
I can't wait to see how my art evolves after this year. ;v;
