So for my senior gift, my parents agreed to get me a new radio and a mini quadcopter that I can use for racing. I still have yet to get the quad on order since I'm still finishing some last details on it, but I'm already starting to like this radio much more than my old one. It is a bit more confusing than the old Spektrum DX6i, but it opens up so many new options. I even set up one of the switches normally used in helicopters to make noises from star wars. I can only imagine how confused somebody would be if I let them try using my radio, expecting to fly only to get random noises. For those who are knowledgeable in the RC hobby, it's a Taranis X9D Plus and I also got an X8R and an X4R receiver. For those who aren't in the RC hobby, go visit your local RC club NOW!
