So, if you adventure long enough, you are bound to encounter someone who will become your foe.
Be it a corrupt official, an evil warlord, or in this case, a cunning vampire!

This scene is the result of my, and  CadmiumTea 's base of kobold adventuring operations being attacked by an old, powerful lizardmand vampire lord with a hatred for the living.
In life he was a skilled military tactician and in death he brings those skills with him, using his undead minions quite effectively in his pursuits, usually wiping out villages, capturing people for his own food.

The one thing he didn't count on was the thin he overlooked, a couple of kobolds that had made the village their home, and just happened to be in that day!

Of course we couldn't possibly stop him from destroying the village, we are just two people against a hoard, but we could buy time for the villagers to get to safety before we scurried off ourselves.
I think this will become an very large issue in the near future.
