Nope this isn´t art of mine lol, here i´m just posting this anouncement pic along with this message from Jim Hardiman´s family to all his fans, this was posted by his friend Jason Canty in his FA account and i posted this pic here too, to spread the voice about this project and help to make it more known by the furry fandom in general and his fans here, if you never heard about Jim Hardiman and his mischievous skunk gals, you should check his stuff here, http://www.furaffinity.net/user/skunkworks/ he was awesome >X)
Whenever AV release that graphic novel prints, i wolud love to get one for myself heh.
Ok this is the message his mom wrote to all the fans:
I am Jim Hardiman’s mom, Pauline Hardiman. Some of you may have met me at one of the earlier Confurences in 1995 – 1997. It has now been 9 months since Jim’s death. Before Jim died he had told me about the plans for a Skunkworks Graphic Novel that he was working on with Jason Canty of Angry Viking Press. He asked me to contact Jason after his death and work with him to make this happen. I promised Jim I would do this for him.
My youngest son, Jonathan (Jim’s brother) and I had a face to face meeting with Jason Canty in November 2014. I have had a difficult time since losing my son but I made him a promise so I will keep that promise. Together with Jonathan, we are working to make “Shunkworks The Graphic Novel” become a reality. I have already scanned and sent over 100 images to Jason.
I want Jim’s fans to know we hope to have everything scanned and sent to Jason within the next month if not sooner. Jim’s art was a part of who he was and his art will live on forever.
I thank you for your patience. I know Jim always had his own time frame and that was just who he was. Jonathan and I will get everything to Jason so he can get this production started and completed so you can all enjoy my Jim’s art and his fabulous sense of humor that I miss so very much.

Bueno, el dibujo al menos si lo es, (es un dibujo viejo claro) pero el cartel y las tipografias creo que las hiso Jason o algun otro amigo de el.
Jeh aunque el andaba bastante enfermo en los ultimos años siempre aprovecho cualquier hueco en su agenda para dibujar y hacer conceptos de la mayor cantidad de ideas que le fuera posible, y con lo rapido que el dibujaba, de seguro dejo bastante material para hacer muchas mas cosas, siempre y cuando se pueda encontrar gente dispuesta a terminar-entintar-pintar esos dibujos base que dejo, sin hir mas lejos dejo las bases para el proyecto de los dakimakuras y las comisiones mas la novela grafica antes de que se le terminara el tiempo, clar que lamentablemente por su partida todo eso se retraso por que Canty tuvo que buscar amigos de el que dibujaran u otros artistas que pudieran terminar los dibujos. estoy contento por que todo eso al final se pudo terminar, y aun mas expectante por ver de que se trata esa novela grafica, ojala la puedan terminar para publicarla.

Yep, he and his family always had a strong and cheerful spirit, Jim always had that possitive attitude to the end, something really admirable.
I wish the best for them too, and for sake of his memory, i think the best is that his fans still draw his characters and create new stories about them and their universe.

Jim was going to make the graphic novel with me, but he passed away, He requested that it still would be made after he passed.
I sorted some of the stuff out with her last year in November, but it was still hard to get it all done since theirs soo soo much art.
Shes been scanning it on and off since and when its all done I'll put the book out as Jim wanted.

Lmao! i know many people know of his art for his so well detailed anthro porn stuff and such, but hey, he also did great stories, with really good art and has a very sharp and dark humor, also his characters has such a personality.
In the last years i saw he wanted to take his artwork to a more serious elaborated-script fashion than just mere hard core porn humor he used to do in the early years, you can notice that by his caterwaul and penance comics, even the skunk girls were feautred in a more serious dark-humor toned comics in his last works.
Not sure how this graphic novel were going to be, but i bet it may be a mix of both stuff, not just a huge porn book >XD although i dont mind about the porn anyway

I'm looking at my old ..ooold first comic book he made, that I have. He he ... good times. I miss that a lot. I don't think there's anything I know that could have this very specific look and feel to it. But in you, Mariano.. in your art I see a lot of that too.
Thanks for that message and I'll be sure to help kickstart. Find something for european users too. Many people there don't use credit cards.
There's a lot more I'd write about Jim. But I can't bring myself to it, now, somehow it would throw me back into being so depressed about it all.
