So a while back I drew a picture of a potential monkey character named Miranda.

Though people liked her (I even had one fanart of her) I felt she was too similar to my other monkeys as well as Nitro's surfer Tiny Kong pic that inspired her (WOW what a great pic).

So I was realizing how much I wanted an Orca character and was kinda wanting to consolidate some existing characters as well. I was thinking since damn near all of my characters have some sort of species change backstory (Jelli is one of the leading experts on species changes so I figure she sees a lot of folks who go through it, often trying to reverse it, induce it, or counsel those who are stuck) maybe this Orca would be a monkey who couldn't swim well and turned into an Orca out of sheer desperation to prevent drowning.

So I'm trying to figure out how to make this Orca unique, looking through hairstyles on SL until I see a pair of stringy looking pigtails and it reminded me of a monkey I drew...MIRANDA! Sure enough I had only ever drawn her once and well...why not try making her an Orca? Maybe doing some life guarding she tried to swim faster and wound up inducing a change? The body type was different from what I had planned but fuck it! This might work!

So I traced some of the old image, tweaked it up, and doodled it out to throw at someone with ACTUAL skill (marauder)! Maybe Jelli can turn her back or at least leave her in a state of flux but for right now? Woo! Orca Miranda!
