Nice sketches. So how's the Monoprice compare to, say, Intuos?

It has more of a weight to it due to the battery in the pen, which I liked. The pad itself feels a bit "cheaper" and has more grain on the drawing surface, which somehow makes it feel safer to go all out than on the intuos (which, I aways felt to be a bit careful with, especially since I scratched marks into the surface). The drivers are very basic, but I still get good pressure response, so it worked out for me.

Since this drawing onwards, I didn't really go back to using my intuos since the cheaper made option didn't really let me down anywhere, and even gave it to a neighbor's kid a month back.

Cool, good to know. My Intuos probably has another year or two in its lifespan by my guess (hopefully more) but I've been trying to keep an eye out for cheaper replacements for when that time comes.
