Holding onto the cabinet, Lucy sat herself down onto her rump. Leaning forward she grabbed one leg from its holder and snapped it into place. Using her nose to navigate the touchscreen on her prostetic arm, she powered on the leg and made sure the batteries were sharing power with her arm. She repeated the process with her other leg. Now able to stand up, Lucy was able to look in the mirror that was higher up on the cabinet. For Lucy, getting her ear prostetics attached was more important than other trivial things, like putting on her other arm. Some people might think it odd, but her ears were the only prostetics of hers that she wore all day, everything else was optional.

Lucy snapped her left arm prostetics into the base on her stump. The status lights blinked as the controller booted and synchronized with the rest of her prostetics. Now with all her limbs attached, she scooted herself over to her dresser to put on her underwear. Balancing on only one leg to put on her panties was something she always had trouble with, so she made sure to be sitting while putting them on. Her bras were all modified specifically for her; metal fingers have trouble working the normal fasteners. Now dressed, she took a moment to smooth her bed-head with her hand as best she could.

Standing up, she walked over to the bed where Jeremiah still lay sleeping. She had gotten out of bed and stump walked all the way from the bed to her prostetics stand, then put on all four limbs as well as get her underwear on without him waking up. Kneeling onto the bed, she stopped for a moment and watched the big-eared bunny asleep under the covers. He always tried to sleep in late, but getting snuggled with cold prostetics should get him up quickly enough. Lucy giggled to herself as she lifted the covers and climbed under them.
