This is a piece that I did today. This was inspired by the artist Mucha, who I greatly admire. i did not want to copy his style, but show that I am influenced by him, as you can maybe see in the cloth and backgrounds. This was all done on bristal board, using prisma color pencils and a dab or sharpie. I decided not to use computer on this one, I wanted to be true and pure to the artist's hand. A canine and a feline; the canine wrapping teh feline in a cloak of insperation and dreams. Canines and felines seem to be the most popular spieces in the furry world, but there is no news there
This picture is dedicated to all those furry artists and friends who "dedicate" their furry artwork and style to the emotional side of art. Emotion furries are very rare now on the web and other places. More and more, people start to draw flat out pr0n or pin-ups ( no, I am not bashing those ), while others do furry artwork that are connected to everyday life and/or feelings. Those kinds of artworks I truely admire and I hope that there will be more artists like that in the furture in the furry community.

Emotion is cool.. BUt then eventually you get those people who are all "DEPRESSED=EMOTION!" and man, that ticks me off. I worked as suicide therapist volunteering at 16 through to 17, and god damnit some of those people you just want to smack, actually all of them you do.. Luckily I did not and most the people I talked to recovered.. Even though I'd stab a number at, 80+% of them make their own problems and basically just pretend depression and the longer you pretend for attention eventually you become it and then eventually you get stuck on that mind set.
But I like happy emotion etc, love it, sometimes it's nice to see sadness when it is beautifully artistic.

I really love that dress (drapes?) great color and style for Fall.
And actually I really like this kind of drawing, where the guy is protecting a girl's modesty. I think gentleman are even more rare than emotion in art on the internet, and seeing them is always muchly appreciated.
