Wow. There are so many different eras of gundams.

Actually no there's only a few

UC (Universal Century) Majority of the Gundam series takes place in this timeline including 0078 Gundam, 0079, 0080, 0081, 0082, 0083 Stardust Memory. Victory Gundam, Gundam F-91, just to name a few
FC (Future Century) This Timeline is in a time instead of a massive war there's The Gundam Fights which takes places every four years(Something like the Olympics that we have) and the Gundam that's left standing at the end of the final round(Its and Battle Royal) is declared the winner of the fight will gain it Nation the right to rule space for the next four years until the next Gundam Fight.
AC(After Colony) New Mobile Report Gundam Wing

I definitely know about the FC one. It's called Mobile Fighter G Gundam. I have this series on DVD. It's personally my favorite of the series. I was mainly saying so many different eras as there's so many different models.

OK then and did you know that the RX-78-2 is in G Gundam along with Wing Gundam, GOP01FB, V-2 Gundam, GOP02, Crossbone Gundam and a few others.

Nope. I had no idea the models that were used. I only knew them by their names, like Shining and Burning Gundam, Dragon Gundam, Gundam Rose, Bolt Gundam and Gundam Maxter. You get what I mean.

I'm not talking about Neo-Japan's Neo-America's Neo-France's Neo-Russia's or Neo-China's Gundams but you'll see what I was talking about in episodes 48 and 49. In 48 you see RX-78-2 Gundam riding a rocket. But watch the whole episode and tell me how many Gundams that you can find in both episodes from other Gundam Shows

I realize that you weren't referring to the main character Gundams. I appreciate and highly respect your knowledge of the gundams used in the show. I wouldn't be able to recognize the gundams off of a brief look. I never watched the UC era. I've watched Gundam Wing and Mobile Fighter G Gundam, that's all. This was never meant to turn into some Gundam knowledge battle. I was simply giving a compliment to a dear friend. Let's just end this with you know more about the gundam series then me and that's all.

Hey I just named the most common ones and I did it in no particular order they came in. I wasn't talking about when the show was first aired. And After War takes place in the UC time line after the Hundred year war. Since there was no mention of New-Type in Gundam Wing and you hear hear the word Zeon and not OZ in After War Gundam X

^^ and do you think it would be possible for us to build a REAL Gundam or Mobile Suit? And I'm not talking about the RX-78-2 and Char's Custom Zaku that are in Japan.

Correct we have the technology to build a fully operational Mobile Suit it just that it would bankrupt all the nations that helped in the Mobile Suit's development and construction. Plus from a military point of view it would be a waste of money to build something that we won't even have a need for it.

But the idea is still kind of cool

Yeah although the ISS is almost close to a Space Colony. And we've landed a rover on a comet early this year. And scientists are working on ways to protect the Earth from E-K (Earth-Killer) Class Asteroids which some of the ideas includes capturing E-K Asteroids and putting them into a geosynchro orbit at the Lagerange Point between the Earth and Moon and mine the minerals and other resources that it has.

And right now NASA scientists and doctors are conducting a test to see what the affects of long term of staying in micro gravity for a year on the human body.
