Neocria is a coated gem [previously called chimeras, shikka’s species] who gave life to the whole species. she has godly power, to the point she can give or take life of her own kind as she desires, plus having complete understanding and control of the thunder element. her affinities are lightning and aura. she can also use her mind to float and manipulate objects she couldnt otherwise hold with her claws.

she lives in a mountain full of a special, malleable crystal- the same crystal coated gems are made of. the crystal can only be manipulated by souls themselves, otherwise they’re insanely hard and will break instead of melt or bend if an incredible external force manages to surpass its hardness. it can only be manipulated by a soul focused in that body of crystal.

sadly, over the years the mountain she lives in has been looted by aura demons and a group of painted alligators who find the crystals beautiful. both combined can make gorgeous, expensive jewelry out of the material they extract. needless to say, Neocria is pretty pissed off at this and has been defending her home for a few years now, without leaving the place, afraid looters might come back anytime.

she has a pretty cheerful personality, and is always happy to help other coated gems, as well as receiving their help. it is said that the best coated gems learn their magic control and affinities by having her as their mentor! if they can acutally reach the place, that is.
