after a lot of tinkering and trying to talk myself out of it i decided to finally finish up the colour work on my picture. it turned out aright but the dark night's sky never really turned out the way i wanted it to.

Yet another well done piece. My compliments especially on the shading. You can definately tell there is depth to this work beyond it being a simple, 2D sketch.
By chance, is that Risu standing toward the right? The poses here are really interesting. Kind of like everyone is in a planning phase.
On another note, I know EXACTLY what you mean about doing something for yourself. Right now, I'm spending my days in search of work while working on my second, story project to try and get myself published in the mainstream. However, amidst this dedication, I most enjoy taking time to just write silly, fun stories, too. It's refreshing to break free every once-in-a-while from the daily grind.
