I never got into Zoids when I was younger, was it a good mecha anime? I love Gurren Lagann so much that I want to get a Dai-Gurren Brigade flag.

Zoids was good but it was sorta like "Baby's first mecha." Chaotic Century is probably the best one and definitely most in-depth of all the Zoids but it's not as insane as other mechas. If you go into it going "Ok this is a mecha for kids." you'll enjoy it ^_^
