I saw DreamWorks Animation SKG's "Home" yesterday and loved it! I bought the soundtrack and Rihanna's song "Towards the Sun" just truly inspired me. I've been through a LOT in my life, many things no one should ever have to go through and I've always found myself having to simply push aside the darkness that would drown most people... The phoenix has always felt like the perfect symbol for me and as I listened to Rihanna's song I just felt like it was speaking to me. It inspired me, so I couldn't help but doodle this! No, this is NOT meant to be perfect; the phoenix is still forming from the flames. I might scrap this later, but I wanted to share it with anyone else who might draw inspiration from these amazing lyrics:

And OMG I LOOOOOVE Home so much! I just ADORE Oh, and the Boov are just SUPER cute! ^_^ I was in the process of looking for a new fursona when the movie came out so I'm now a Boov, hehe! I just love them! (My 'sona's name is Fizzy and if you're interested you can see her here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16719685/ ) My favorite song from the film is kind of a three-way tie between Dancing in the Dark, Red Balloon, and Towards the Sun. Towards the Sun was just SOOO inspiring to me and the other two just make me want to shake my Boov thing (and I do in the car when I'm driving... LOLOL!) so I just can't pick, LOL! I do love Drop That though! Very cool sound to that one. And Slushious is now my ringtone on my phone... Can you tell I like the soundtrack? The only thing I can't find is a sound clip of Oh saying "Fa-da!!!" that I could use for my notification sound on my cell... If I could find that I'd be one VERY happy Boov indeed!
