This is one of the nicest surprises I've received here!
How'd this happen, you ask? Well, truth be told, back on April Fool's Day, I ended up stumbling onto
's page trying to find a headshot that she drew of someone I thought I recognised. I went to her page, but I couldn't find that headshot of said character; to be honest, I had a lot on my mind earlier that day - like a lot of other furry drawings I've seen on here in my mind - so by the time I went through her Gallery, I pretty much forgot it. lol Heck, I still try to remember whose headshot it was, yet I couldn't. But even still, that "search" ended me up on her page with such a lovely furry art gallery. And I happened to notice that there were 700 submissions on her page. And such milestones should be recognised! So being the nice-guy ninja lion that I am, I felt like congratulating her; 700 is a lot, after all!
But I never expected this in return! I'm loving everything - and I mean everything - about this little gift! Cool-looking expression, and excellent body structure; loving those muscles! I love how his face is so cheeky and smug while overpowered with confidence; the cocked eyebrows really drive that badass appearance home. I'm impressed she combined both wardrobes into one for this drawing: he has his main black muscle shirt, but instead of the usual "力" character, he has his "火" character from his red shirt found on his original character concept. Or maybe he does have his red shirt on! Either way, that's very creative! Speaking of character concepts, I notice his black paw-print tattoo is missing on his right arm. But y'know, I don't even care right now! Again, the way she drew him and his arms looks badass! And I absolutely love how she still maintained his overall anime-inspired hairstyle through her own artistic eyes. And I'm loving it even more knowing that she based it off of Luxray's design (as she claimed)! That's just an epic win! Bonus points for summoning a little ember.
