Much of the art I've commissioned for this character -- and, indeed, the story bits tacked on with them -- have customarily been less cheerful and more emotional than the standard fare. For the most part, he's a persona deeply tied in with the message of the very story that birthed him, and pictures of him were meant to convey the gradual, progressive arc that defines his character.

Unfortunately, I can't discuss the finer details for personal reasons, both because they are sensitive and because the story is hardly even started yet. But that's where this rare exception to the trend comes into play. That's not to suggest he's acting out of character, of course. After all, he's normally very effeminate and, while typically embarrassed to be in these situations, he's not afraid to indulge his deeper desires.

Seeing as it's not canon, I don't have any writing to pair with this shot, but it should provide the short, sweet glimpse of the happier, more playful side to my little cutie here -- a side you'll see less of, but a facet of his personality nonetheless.
