I have an old Faber pen with the squeeze-bulb reservoir which I snaffled for free out of a desk in an abandoned office ... heh heh

Yeah: when I've worked with fountain pens, old or new, I always seem to spend most of my time cleaning them out to get the ink flowing properly again... 7X=Q

You could always try getting some goosequills and a very sharp knife...

I have technical pens with the same "Attitude." Of course some of them do not like going with me to the desert at a 4,000 foot rise in elevation too. I also have had incidents where pens get uncapped somehow in my back pocket, and I get my back end "Spotted."
