My large ambitious project that I work on steadily in the background is a full symphonic and choral Requiem Mass. This is the instrumental overture to the piece, an introductory movement before the Mass officially begins.

I may not be a religious person, but I was originally raised Catholic and still appreciate the grand ritual and magnum mysterium of the high Latin Mass. I very much respect faith and the Church as a source of inspiration.
