Lupin is an ex breeder that I bought from a really good breeder about two years ago. He is an older boy and is what is called an Enigma Leopard Gecko. Enigma's are born with a brain defect that can effect them in small levels to high levels. It can show in not being able to see correct [aka missing food and have to try a few times to get at it], spinning in circles neurotically, head tilting, all the way up to seizures... Lupin at first didn't show anything except for a little bit of not seeing very well. He would ride on my shoulder and chill out on my lap and just be there with me. The last few months though he went down hill quick... No one knew why except for the neuro problems went south... He started to tilt his head dramatically and even started having seizures... When he started to stop eating, me and my mate had to make a difficult decision of putting him down... I had two really good years with him and will miss him greatly, as will my mate who loved him. I am glad Lupin that we could give you a good last few years old man... you are now no longer hurting and are probably catching all the super worms and dubia roaches your heart desires. Just know that we will always love you and will miss you.

Awww. I'm so sorry for your loss, guys. =( He's in a better place now and it's good that you stopped his pain for him. I know losing any pet is a hard thing to do, especially when they're your livelihood. I do agree that maybe he did give the last of his energy to help out Froakie. Giving his life so another can live. You guys are awesome and I'm sure he was happy with the two of you and loved you both deeply.
