EDIT: My apologies to Drake and everyone who read the earlier version of this piece. I misunderstood the image and thought the foreground character was a tuxedo cat. She is instead one Mandi Dobbs, a Doberman (a species of domestic dog), as would be obvious if she were in color or we could see her tail. The tigress with her is Benni. The floaty robot has no name I know of, so I will continue to call him "Bot" (Biological Operations Technician #386).

But it remains relevant that she has decided to join the Galactic Surveying Team. Her reasons might be a little unusual, but she did pass the requirements.
