Oh my wow, this thing took forever to figure out!
First i get limited on certain colors of this thing, and trying to do the shading right without running out of my perlers.
And to make it take longer than normal, my cat Rupee decided she wanted to stretch her front paws on it, pulling quite a bit of the design off. Thank god i decided to take WIP pics just in case scenarios.

They could have kept water. They just needed to make it more user friendly and less annoying to fight in. They made a lot of weapons fairly useless when submerged because you were just too fucking slow... I suppose that was part of the challenge though. Fighting a monster underwater as a person. That's just unthinkable. It's a miracle if there ever was one.
Anyway, I liked using the gunlance for underwater fighting. It allowed me to make use of my immobility to focus on defense. It was a patient way of fighting, but it got the job done more often than not. Even the Abyssal Lagiacrus fell prey to my fortress-like stance.
