I haven't quite created a story for this guy quite yet. The more I look at him though, the more I try to piece together his backstory...and given his overall image, you would think that he would be a rather commanding if not somewhat intimidating figure. Sure, he seem elegant and the like....but being a mage gives him power beyond many would even consider of possessing. The armor was a sort of rehash of an older drawing I made...but I decided to reduce it from a godly figure to something that seemed a little more like a paladin or some sort of more magical armor of sorts....raising his status. This also marks the first time I have ever done a centaur image...and damn, I had to do a bit of research to figure out the lower body as well as proper enough armor to cover his lower body without leaving it too blank. But considering the detail of the armor, I wanted to make sure to have a little less busy that it is on the arm and shoulder pieces I gave him. But considering his appearance, I wanted to give him an equally interesting looking weapon/staff with the tip resembling a musical symbol...but deconstructed. Either way, I hope that you guys enjoy him as much as I did enjoy making him.
