MOZZARELLA STICKS!!!! Oh my god these are so damn delicious! I'm proud of them! My friend,
Tsubasa-sama and I decided to make these today and they turned out fabulous!! Please try these!
So here is what you'll need.
Ingredients:
~4-6 cups vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
~1 cup flour
2 cups plain bread crumbs
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 cup grated fresh parmesan
1 lb dry mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp garlic powder
Salt
Pepper
Directions :
1. In 3 seperate bowls, mix eggs and milk in one. Bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, parmesan, salt and pepper to taste, in another bowl. And in the last bowl have flour.
2. Cut up mozzarella cheese into 1 inch wide strips. Then comes the battering.
3.To start, dip mozzarella strip into egg wash, then to flour, back into egg wash, into the bread crumb mix, back into egg wash, and lastly back into bread mix again. Set aside on baking sheet, and when done with process for each stick, place in freezer over night.
4. The next day, in a medium sauce pan, heat up oil to about 375°F. When ready, take about 3-4 mozzarella sticks and fry until golden brown, turning often to brown each sides.
5. Set on cooling wrack or paper towel to drain. And that's it! Let cool and eat with some delicious marinara sauce!
