Back story

Like many stories when a dragon would lay a group of eggs, as they hatched the young drakes would fight for dominance, sometimes maming and even killing their hatchmates in the process.

Young Sanguine bore the brunt of this, being the odd one in his clutch. His dame a gold dragon from the mountains, his Sire from the north.
