[Commission Information]
I'm not very good with acrylic paints yet, and my photos of my paintings tend not to be too good, but I love the freedom and vivid colors that paint offers, and how if I make a mistake, I can just wait for it to dry and then color over it. Not possible with colored pencils or watercolor. XD
I tried to really involve myself in an assignment for a "self-portrait" and go for something conceptual rather than literal. I usually portray myself as a barn owl, but for this one I closely examined my emotions and current mental state and decided to use a bird that was a little smaller and more vulnerable.
