Seeing as I'm pretty crummy at drawing furs right now. I tried a medium I'm a little more at home with...
This is a thankyou sculpture I made for Delilah (Joy the Bunny) for the two occasions that she fixed my fursuit heads to be less creepy by giving them their eyes.
This piece is actually curing in the oven as I type. (which is making it kinda tricky to type as my eyes keep darting to the clock)
But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. There is a decent sense of 3D when you look at the piece, I do have a strong concern about that with a few of the bits though given just how thin I made them.
So far the Dae figure I made has held up well enough, but there are bits of this that are even thinner. I suppose that only time will tell.
I don't have any acrylic paints on hand, so this'll be "naked" for awhile. I'm hoping I can bring out the details when I get a chance to actually color this.
Especially seeing as I made some little toutches here and there that really need color to stand out. (see if you can spot the big one)
Times up! Time to pull this out of the oven and hope it still looks the same.
