Over six years ago I met who would become one of the closest friends I'd have the fortune of ever knowing. His name was
Nishi
He, like I was at the time, was trying to find his way. To find acceptance despite feeling like there was nobody out there who could understand or care for him.
One of the first posts I ever saw of Nishi's was this one, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1602145/. It was entitled 2 Player but featured nobody holding the second controller. It made me very sad and had haunted me for years. Especially since Nishi was so thoughtful, caring, and talented. I looked up to him for his ability but it seemed nobody could understand his work. What was worse is that true friends seemed in short supply which was another thing I couldn't believe since he really is the nicest guy I've ever met in my life.
Since my good friend, Lucca is in genuine need of some extra support while she prepares for the birth of her son alongside her husband 
SesameBun I decided to save up what money I could to commission her to do this meaningful piece. A work that was long overdue in which is made even better as it allowed me to update a picture that has haunted me for years while helping out Lucca who is doing her very best to use her talents to support her family.
I owe so much of what I've become creatively to Nishi. He's been perhaps the strongest source of true encouragement beyond blanket statements like "You're a great writer!" in which are often not supported through people reading my actual work. Nishi has not only taken the time to read my work but has also inspired a lot of what you've seen posted. In particular the Further Realms: Creative Campaign series. He allowed me to borrow his characters to make the story what it is and I'm eternally grateful for such kindness. I'd have given up writing altogether if not for Nishi believing in me and genuinely reading what I write while providing constructive feedback.
So I'll end by mentioning how thankful I am for Nishi while also expressing how proud I am to have had this most meaningful piece of art done by Lucca. She's a wonderful person who definitely has great artistic talent. Why not help me further help her by having a work of art done by her? You wouldn't just be getting a piece of art but also the knowledge of knowing you are helping an expecting mother make ends meet so she can focus on what's truly important, her family.

It's truly amazing how important it is to have someone in your life who you feel truly cares about you as much as you care about them?
I have my wife as my paramount along with my son. But we are a social species who need more than a handful of people in our lives. It's been hard for me to make deep friends whom I bond with very closely with. But Nishi has become one of them despite how we never met beyond the internet.
What I like about the internet is that you can move anywhere and still be in contact with those you enjoy their company with. I've moved so much in my life that having internet pals has been a real saving grace.
I'm glad we can build a friendship together as well. :)

Every word I wrote was from the heart. There is a lot about you that reminds me of amazing inspirations in my life. I won't ever pretend to know exactly what you have dealt with or are dealing with. But I can say what you've done to get where you are today has definitely touched me in a way in which I have not been touched in a very long time. And it is a good thing.
Put more simply I will always do what I can to help you. I know your Care Bear icon is more than just an avatar but a symbol of the person you are and will always strive to be. Loving and caring.

Part'a what makes this gift so great is that it's not just something you did for me, it's something you did for Lucca too! You're super kind and considerate and helpful towards others. You're super giving even when you're in tough times too. Just shows what a good person ya really are. :3
And bein' such a good person is part'a what makes you such a good friend! (: hehe, I really would never have expected this picture to come up again or anything. I was even thinking of clearing through my FA gallery lately to put old stuff in scraps, but didn't get far - and I still just didn't wanna shove away or get rid'a this old picture either. (:

Such thoughtful comments, Nishi. *Snugs* It reminds me of those initial conversations we had around the beginning of Circles. Learning about each other through our arts and how we interpreted them was and still is lots of fun.
You've coined a lot of fun relationships with my style of writing, too. Most I think on as I write and smile as I do. Our techniques have advanced over the years while we've also found so many better ways to manage time, people, and work efforts. Good times are great and bad times can simply just be background amidst fun conversations. Sadness is not the forefront nor is worrying about things in which you can't do anything about.
You've made me a better person while aiding me in discovering more of my true self. Your patience and kindness is amazing. You inspire me to be a better person and duck butt. I can never stay down for too long when I know I have a wonderful friend like you to compliment my life by simply being you. It's nice having a friend who is a genuine friend. We need not worry about when we talk, how we talk, or doing things for each other. We just do what we do when we can and have fun doing it. :)
