Part of a commission for the amazing
- you da man.
This lovely gal is Felicia from the Darkstalkers game. I've had this sprite lined up for a very long time now (though not this coloration). I never thought I'd be good enough to actually make something of this size..but I've proved myself wrong! I really love this color scheme in particular- the red looks great!
Thinking about it, most of the sprites/characters I've seen in that game are pretty bangin'. It seems..appropriate for this site!
WIP can be seen here.
3994 beads, with a few more clear beads added for reinforcement.
Original sprite can be found here. I don't have a source on who ripped it.

I've actually started using masking tape for nearly every sprite that I do. I've been getting very inconsistent results when I iron on the pegboards now- I think it's because they've warped a little bit after years of use.
It took probably 2 or 3 hours to tape each pegboard, and then stitch them together. It was very harrowing at times. I was worried there would be a massive seam down the middle, but it wound up ironing out for the most part. It took another 2 hours or so to iron, repair, and iron some more.
Overall it was pretty tiring, but it was one of my better ironing jobs for something of this size.

Thank you so much!
I really need to be more patient with this kind of stuff..but she seems solid, there aren't a lot of fuckups on this (though there are some minor ones if you look real closely), and the coloring turned out pretty accurate.
I'm quite pleased! Now to ship it..

Thank you very much! Ironing it was definitely a challenge (took almost as long to iron it as it did to bead it), but I wound up with a piece that turned out pretty solid!
As for my hands- I'm rather used to this sorta stuff. I've been doing it for so many years most of the motions are automatic. No cramps or anything, whoo! :D
