I visited Yellowstone National Park in 2010. The beauty of the park is unsurpassed with its geologic features and wildlife. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend a visit.

This bison was grazing a short distance from the road. He was one of many I saw in the park. As I was driving out after dusk at the end of my first day, I encountered two walking down the road in the opposite direction. I stopped to let them pass. Had I been brave enough to roll down my window, I could have touched one of them as it walked by.

There are two pools of water in the frame. The obvious one at the bottom and a smaller one, nearer the bison on the right. Both of these were steaming hot.
