The heart of a wolf
This picture was taken by a guest. He offered to email it to me because I didn't have a camera and wanted to capture the moment.
He was faithful to email it to me.
Look at the wolf's face. At the time I was oblivious, to be honest.
God as telling him to prepare himself.
At the time I was going through a lot. Emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
I decided to take a hiatus from the sanctuary. I did not know for how long. It ended up being two years.
I wept for him... I prayed for him. Daily. One day after my absence from the sanctuary, I wanted to see him so badly... For one reason or another I thought I could not, I got so angry I slammed my truck door so hard it shattered the window inside. It was a spiritual decision, to leave the sanctuary and the wolf (wolves), I later realized was my own turmoil, and not Gods decision.
This picture was taken a few days before my hiatus. Mishomi, the wolf knew. God told him.
Two agonizing years later I came to see him again.
His eyes were stained with tears, the fur brown. He was so excited to see me... Then excitement turned to anger.
Our relationship was never the same after that. It was shortly after that that he passed on. They said cancer but I believe he gave up.
His reason for living, his reason for existing, his only friend had stopped coming by.
The last time I saw him in his pen I fought palpable terror to go in and see him. Our relationship had become one of him visiting the anger in his heart over me not coming to see him.
In his final moments alive I asked him to fight and he did. He died with his eyes open.

Yes, I believe that is true. Many Christians do not believe that animals have souls. Not like we do... If a soul is defined by a mind, will, and emotions, animals do indeed have souls. They may not have a spirit, however. Nonetheless, if God can bring one of every kind of animal on the Ark, then God can take the animal into Heaven. It actually says so in the Bible, that in paradise, the wolf will lay down with the lamb (As friends).
Isaiah 11:6 And a wolf hath sojourned with a lamb, And a leopard with a kid doth lie down, And calf, and young lion, and fatling are together, And a little youth is leader over them.
So there will be animals there, too. They were created for us in Eden, and on Earth. Why wouldn't they also be in Heaven?
Romans 8:22
for we have known that all the creation doth groan together, and doth travail in pain together till now.
All creation desires to see Gods kingdom. Not just humans.
Thank you. These words mean a lot to me. I want my last word to be, "Mishomi...", as I see him bounding towards me.
Thanks again.
