Another of these two together, I don't think this is one of my best. There are so many little mistakes that to me could have been avoided when it came to drawing. Other than that this is fine. And like the last one there is a story behind this.
Although she had slept soundly that night after meeting him, when the vixen woke up, the excitement came back. Topaz had to go back down to the beach and see him again. She had seen it in Nicholas's eyes to meet again. After getting ready, the vixen quickly made her way down to the same beach from before.
Even though it was only the middle of the morning, already there were a number of species here. She looked but didn't find him among them. Topaz was certain that he would be easy to spot in a crowd; the vulpine easily stood out. Topaz waited, but he never showed up.
"Ah.. what an idiot I am," she thought. "I really thought he would come here without us even saying to do so..." She laid her head down on a railing in sadness.
"And just how long are you going to stay like that Topaz?" went a voice that already she knew well. The vixen looked up with a start to see Nicholas there with an amused grin on his face and arms crossed in front of him. "I didn't think you'd be the kind to be sad."
"You actually came," she responded. Both could feel the slight blush coming onto their faces already.
"Well... uh... maybe you'd like a smoothie," said Nicholas, a bit nervous. "I saw you by the stand yesterday and... well..."
"Sure," answered Topaz with a soft smile. The two foxes each got one and then leaned on a railing to talk. Except for their past and careers, it was about everything else. It was amazing how many of the same common interests they had with a few exceptions. Most of the same music, sports, and things they liked to do was the same.
"Damn, she's perfect," thought Nicholas. "But then..." He bit his lip, knowing the kind of modeling life the vixen lived and not wanting to believe Topaz was taken. Even if the first wasn't the case, the changes of her being single were lower than low. Besides, even if Topaz was, why would a beauty like her want to be with him? He could only dream. Still he thought it was nice how him and this vixen were able to click so well.
Little did he know that Topaz was thinking the same lines. "I'm sure he's taken," thought the vixen. "Even if he wasn't, why would he want to be with you?"
Even so the two still talked until realizing how long they had stayed, the two knew it was time to go. "Tell me, shall we meet here again?" asked Nicholas.
"Like when?" responded Topaz.
"Same time as today," answered the vulpine both were still blushing.
"Alright, I'll be here," commented the vixen.
"Until then..."
"Yes..." Topaz began to leave but not before looking at him one last time. "Goodbye," she whispered and then took off. He had the stupidest of grins on his face, loving how well this had gone with Topaz. She in the meantime was happy, the most she had ever been.
"That's twice now I've been with him!" thought the vixen. Nicholas was thinking the same lines and also just as happy as the she was.
