284 – The Arrival

Look it’s baby Doodles! Did you recognize her? Huh?

You know, thinking about The Witches made me think about how, as a kid, I liked that book partly because I thought the idea of turning into a mouse was totally awesome. I had a huge interest in animal transformation type stuff as a kid and it’s a fascination I still have to some degree — WHICH IS PROBABLY WHY I’M A DEGENERATE FURRY DURRRRR — but it strangely never metastasized into a fetish like my other bizarre childhood obsession, the one with fat girls. Strange how the brain works! Oh, yeah, hopefully you’ve all been listening religiously to SHOW, the podcast that I co-host with Aurelina, where we discuss these issues fairly regularly or else you just got an out-of-nowhere introduction blast to my psyche.
