I decided to take less time and keep the lines more rigid instead. I've used an h4 pencil to get the initial sketch and the softer shadows in, and then switched to b2 for the darker shadows, lines and things like eyes and lips.

Oh I see, I was going to say it looks a lot different than your digital sketches I normally see. I wish I had surgeon's hands, it would make drawing a lot easier if my hands didn't shake all over the place and I was able to exercise a little more precision XP
Also I saw it as soon as you put it up thank you! ^^ She looked great, albeit a bit creepy, almost as if she was on that insanity anger breaking point. It was a very interesting expression in it's own right.

You could always try and make the shaky hands work for you, create a style around it. Though, I have to say, my hands are shaky as well. I've learned to make quick strokes and not hesitate. But this skill comes with practice and skill.
Your welcome! Yeah, sorry. It was a late night sketch and I tried to keep the larger eyes as she has, which sorta messes with the proportions a bit. Just had the urge to draw her and didn't want to keep it from you.
