I drew this in memory of my budgie Fletcher, who was put to sleep on July 15th of this year, unfortunately while I was on vacation. Supposedly it was a tumor near his leg, but I never fully understood what happened. We always teased him for being "standoffish" because sometimes he would just not want to be picked up, and would cling to his perch if we tried! He also loved singing - on this drawing I imitated the picture in the background of Mitchie M's song "FREELY TOMORROW" because he would always chirp very loudly to it while I played it. I sang to this song too, so I guess he was sort of my singing partner!
