I think you're lighting and shading beautifully! Best thing to do and easiest too: decide on a light source and work with it. That said, I can tell where you took the light source to be, for definite! If I can suggest something for lighting, don't hesitate in using white to show shine!

For someone who claims he doesn't know how to shade light properly, this looks awesome! You show soft bends and creases without using many sharp lines, while giving the image depth and perspective, simultaneously complimenting your figure and big feet :3. I'd say nicely done! I do see a gradient from the upper right going to down left, but still see plenty of details to the figure. Keep up the good work!
